The Art Of Bill Ohrmann

Kodiak Bear
Welded stainless and mild steel

Bill and his son John created this Kodiak Bear in the summer of 2012.  Starting with the dimensions of the largest known Kodiak bear skull, they created this life sized rendition of the world's largest land carnivore.  He is constructed of welded stainless and mild steel plate and stands about 11 feet tall.  He can be seen, along with many other large steel sculptures and the paintings of Bill Ohrmann at the Ohrmann Museum and Gallery, a couple miles south of Drummond, Montana.
